Ok, to some it may seem that I have been lazy, not posting anything in a while, but here is the truth.
I've been working on publishing a full 29 page comic book for my little petproject SOLE. And its almost done! and maybe....I'll let you in on the action.
Here is the deal. I want to have separate artists lined up to do featured work in the comic, and the artists will be able to draw whatever they want to, as long as it is pertinient to the comic. No nudity, no swearing, no puppies with machine guns, cuz there is none of that in the comic(Although I like the puppies with machine guns....I might use that later.
You will not get a monetary payment per se, but in return for the said work, you will get a FREE copy of the published book when it is printed in the next two months AND credit within the production page where you can list a website or other contact info. So, how does that sound to you?

I tend to get a bit sentimental around the holiday season,ever more so around New Years. This year is no different, however this time, I have so many successes to which I can be proud of.

-First off, on a personal note, I have lost over 100lbs...and I intend  on losing a good deal more. It's almost become a addiction but in a good way. As a result of doing so, I have been able to come off medications I though I would have to be on for the rest of my life.

-I've restarted the SOLE comic after three years of being in a serious funk. Although nothing has been actually published page-wise except previews, we're now up to page 20, with a plan to do 29 or so to make into a actual printed work to sell online and at cons(planning on a Animazement 2010 premiere), and have also begun outlining SOLE 2, which I am thoroughly excited over.

-I got my dream tattoo...my Harley Quinn pinup!

I've met new people, made new friends, and found some old ones...

In so many ways...I can't wait to see what this new year and new decade has in store for me.

I have not worked on SOLE in roughly a month and a half or so...I know shame on me. I've been burning the candle on both ends alot...what with my day job being a doormonger, a business venture I have bought into that when successful will be able to free up time and money...its just taking time to do it you know? Combined all that,SOLE kinda took a back seat for a while. BUT if I have my way, a page will be finished by this weekend.

Good new on the art front, through some really awesome friends of mine, I have been able to procure a REALLY NICE laptop. it is a couple of years old, but gently used, so that is one thing that is off my list of items to procure to increase my productivity. In fact I am typing on it right now. Now I just need a tablet and Manga Studio and I'll be set.

Ok....off I go!
